Celtic Crosses :
The Irish Celtic Cross is a mixture of ancient pagan and Christian symbols, the Cross being the symbol of faith and belief in Jesus and his crucifixion.
The circle around the cross symbolizing eternity in the Pagan beliefs of the Druids who were the Priestly Caste of ancient Ireland.
In order for the new religion to be accepted by both Pagan and Christian, the two were blended beautifully to give us this decorative ancient symbol of faith and hope.
